Nanostructure-Activity Relationship in Industrially Important Reactions for Energy Production

Based on microscopic foundations, the nature and factors that dominate the general trends and the limitations of the changes in properties (physical, chemical and reactive) induced by the size of the supported metal nanoparticles are studied.

The relationships between nanostructure and activity, of selected industrially important reactions for hydrogen production, are evaluated by the design and modeling of next generation catalysts.
